Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

Contemplating the future can be a scary endeavor especially at the end of a journey. What comes next? Will it be better or worse? We become overwhelmed with fear. I was once taught that FEAR stands for False Expectations Appearing Real. We grab ahold of the worst case scenario and then live our lives as if there is no hope. Do not worry. You will not be overwhelmed. You will not be burned. You will not be consumed. God walks with you when you walk with Him. If you have fears and doubts as we move forward, understand that the future is held in His hands for you. Do what you can today and then pass it to the one who controls it. Do not let fear suck the joy from your day today!
